The challenges of fighting human trafficking are many. With an estimated 40.3 million men, women, and children living in modern slavery, the numbers can feel overwhelming. The fight against human trafficking is also incredibly complex, underfunded, and misunderstood. The reality is that human trafficking is a crime that occurs in every country, not just the developing world.
